As part of the Prep Community unit of Inquiry from Term 1, Preps had police officers visit. This allowed students to be introduced to community members in a real life context and learn about their roles, how they help the community and the use of a police car. Prep students had the opportunity to look inside the police car and observe the different functions. They also discussed how to call the police and when it is appropriate to do so.
