In Term 2, the Year 1 students have been exploring their Inquiry unit, Sustainability: There Is No Planet B. To deepen their understanding and strengthen their connection with the natural world, students visited the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne.
During the excursion, they learned about water conservation, sustainable gardening practices, and worm farming. As they explored the gardens, students investigated ways to improve biodiversity and sustainability, developing a greater appreciation for how people can care for and protect the environment.
