Friday March 17th was the seventh National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence. 5/6H shared a powerful message against bullying as they explored the impact hurtful words can make to the ‘inside of a person’ or in this case the ‘inside of an apple’. Students were shown that people might look ok on the outside but if you could open them up you would see the harmful effects of hurtful words. They also viewed a video and discussed the role of bystanders. Just one of the many ways we work to counter bullying.
Whole School invited to participate in “Talk and Chalk Drawings and Messages” at lunchtime.
